Who I Am

Hi! I’m Sophia, a high schooler who loves journalism, photography, and sports!

I’ve always been obsessed with sports since a young age (especially hockey). So I decided to put my random tidbits of knowledge to use and pursue a career in journalism and media.

I first obtained media credentials for the then-up-and-coming local PWHL team, PWHL Minnesota, reporting about major news and games for my high school newspaper.

But I love a good challenge, so in February of 2025, I picked up photography. Using this to make even more connections and impacts in the sports media world, but I have also used photography to further develop my storytelling skillset to set me apart from others.

This website serves to showcase these skills, as well as grow my audience and provide my multimedia services.
