My Work
-
During my high school journalism career I served as the newspapers sports editor. Mostly writing sports stories I dug deeper into the stories of athletes and problems within the high school sports world.
-
In winter 2025 I had the opportunity to attend the US Hockey Hall of Fame induction as a contributor for The Hockey News’ main page. My article was featured on the websites main page.
-
I served as the main contributor for the Minnesota Frost, writing stories and providing photos from home games. After moving to Toronto fall 2026 to attend university, I have transitioned to being a contributor to the page covering the Toronto Scepter and occasionally PWHL Hamilton.
-
As I begin university I will be a contributor for The Eyeopeners sport section through writing and photography.
Link to come soon.
Highlights
A story I wrote at the end of my Sophomore year about PWHL Minnesota’s historic Walter Cup winning season. Included player interviews, and was one of my first big sports pieces.
This was one of my first heavily researched stories. I interviewed many people from college professors, to social media influencers. A deep dive like this became one of my favorite stories to write and research for in high school.
My first story published to the main site of The Hockey News. I highlighted Zach Parise and his induction to the US Hockey Hall of Fame. The event was held in his home state, something I highlighted throughout the story.
I followed DaBeauty League throughout their final season in the summer of 2026. I photographed games, talked to players, staff, and many more for a behind the scenes look at how the league came together, thrived, and navigated its final season.
One of my first stories working with The Hockey News Women’s page. I got to hear first hand how players felt about winning the Walter cup on home ice, and the emotions surrounding a second banner raising for fans in the State of Hockey.
