One way we promote our paper is through TikTok and Instagram. I regularly partake in helping make TikTok videos, or Instagram posts promoting stories and things going on in the classroom.

Distribution Day!!

In addition to social media we do a lot of word of mouth. As shown in the video above, distribution day is a whole event for us. We go classroom to classroom handing out papers to students and staff, encouraging them to read their peers work.

Distribution day is one of my favorite days because we walk around with a speaker and have a ton of fun showing off our hard work.

Journalism plays a huge role in my life. It has become deeply ingrained in me and this motivates me to encourage others to see the art and beauty of journalism especially in a high school setting where the paper is created by their peers. This helps me to market to and engage new audiences and students in our work.
